Road and Track - Race prepared!

2008 Rounds 7 & 8 : Snetterton

Snetterton saw another marque represented in GT4, Nissan, with the 350Z. In what would be the largest grid of GT4 cars in the Avon Tyres British GT Championship the team looked forward to the prospect of a hard fought race at the quick Norfolkshire circuit. The GT3 grid was also joined by the Ford GT, with the 2007 Champions taking to the wheel of that car, it would prove to be a truly formidable combination.

Result

A mix-up with the start time of the race meant that the team had to start from the pit-lane. In the end they fought back to third place and finished third. Not quite the result they had been hoping for, but all in all a good result.

Result

First place! It’s always good to win the “feature” race, as it makes up the majority of the televised coverage and after the “disappointment” of finishing in third place on Saturday, due to a mix-up with the race starting time the team were overjoyed to make a return to the top step of the podium. The team fought a good, hard race, with tactics coming in to play, they made an early pit-stop which resulted in them leap frogging the opposition who had stayed out on the track.. The end of the race was close, but the team held on for a deserved first place.
